Educational Qualification
-
Must have 10th / SSC pass from a recognized board.

Must have ITI pass in the relevant trade (NCVT / SCVT) for the trade you are applying for.

Engineering graduates or diploma holders are not eligible for these apprentice posts.

Age Limit
-
For the 156-post notification: Minimum age is 14 years, maximum is 30 years (as of a specified cut-off date)

Age relaxations:
-
SC / ST: +5 years
-
OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): +3 years
-
PwD (General): +10 years, OBC-PwD: +13, SC/ST-PwD: +15

Selection Process
-
Merit-based: No written test. They prepare a merit list for each trade.
-
The merit is based on equal weightage of:
-
10th / SSC marks
-
ITI marks
-
-
After the merit list: Document verification + Medical examination (you need to pass the medical exam).
-
Physical / medical standards: As per prescribed norms.
-

Training Duration & Stipend
-
Duration: 1 year of apprenticeship training.
-
Stipend: As per the Apprenticeship Act, 1961. (The exact amount depends on BDL’s implementation & government rules.

How to Apply

Candidates must register on the Apprenticeship India Portal (apprenticeshipindia.gov.in).
-
In the portal, use “Establishment Search” → select Bharat Dynamics Limited, Kanchanbagh (or respective Unit). For example, Reg. No for Kanchanbagh is E05203600393.

Upload required scanned documents:

10th/SSC certificate + mark sheet

ITI mark sheet + certificate / provisional certificate

Caste certificate (if applicable)

Aadhaar card (must match name and date of birth on 10th certificate)

After online application, print the application and send a hard copy (self-attested) to BDL’s address. For the 156-post notification, the hard copy must reach: Manager (HR) Apprentice, Bharat Dynamics, Kanchanbagh, Hyderabad – 500058.

Make sure your hard copy reaches before the deadline. (E.g., for the 156 post drive: hard copy last date is 12th December 2025.)

Reservation and age relaxations per government norms (for SC, ST, OBC, PwD) apply.

The selection merit list is prepared trade-wise.

Other Conditions / Important Notes

There is no TA/DA for attending certificate verification.
-
Selected apprentices will undergo medical check as per BDL’s rules before joining.

The training is strictly for one year – this is not a permanent employment post; it's an apprenticeship.
